Who We Are

A Working Boxing Gym in Hammond

Boxing training and fitness for kids, adults, amateurs, and professionals at 250 Ogden St in Hammond, Indiana.

Hammond Boxing Club is a USA Boxing–endorsed club whose shows are sanctioned by USA Boxing. From first-timers to registered fighters, the gym trains everyone under one roof.

Programs & Schedule

Monday Through Friday

Monday – Friday

  • Youth Ages 8–16 4:15 – 5:30 PM
  • Registered Fighters Amateur & pro 5:00 – 7:00 PM
  • Adults Led by Coach Michael Jadd 7:00 – 8:30 PM

Youth and registered-fighter sessions overlap between 5:00 and 5:30 PM.

Meet the Coaches

In Memoriam

As a manager, coach, promoter, referee, judge, cut man, and advisor, this Clark HS alumnus championed the sport of boxing for 45+ years, beginning in the 1970s.

The hundreds of amateur and professional fighters he trained produced dozens of Golden & Silver Gloves championships and 200+ pro ring victories. Several of his boxers, including locals Amy Yuratovac and Hammond Sports Hall of Famers Jack Callahan & Marty Jakubowski, competed for world titles.
